摘要
Abstract
Objective To confirm the location of the electrode contacts which were implanted into the cranium. Methods Ten patients suffering intractable epilepsy underwent intracranial electrodes implantation. Before and after the operation MRI and CT scan were done respectively, then the 3D image data of MRI and CT were co-registered. Results We got the 3D co-registration images (infused images) from which we could easily observe the relationship between cerebrum and the electrode contacts. We could easily see also the location of each contact directly and then conduct the following mapping according to the infused images. Conclusions 3D digital images co-registration technique is useful to confirm the accurate location of the implanted electrode contacts.关键词
