Content Determination of Scutellarin, Quercetin and Luteolin in Total Flavonoids of Erigeron canadensis by RP-HPLC

Abstract
OBJECTIVE: To establish the method for the content determination of scutellarin, quercetin and luteolin in total fla-vonoids of Erigeron canadensis(76.52%). METHODS: RP-HPLC method was adopted. An Agilent ZORBAX SB-C18(250 mm×4.6 mm, 5 μm) column was used with mobile phase consisted of methanol-0.5% acetic acid (gradient elution) at the detection wavelength of 360 run and flow rate of 1 mL·min-1. The column temperature was 30 °C. RESULTS: The linear ranges of scutellarin, quercetin and luteolin were 0.52~1.17 ug. The average recoveries were 97.23% for scutellarin (RSD=1.44% ,n=6), 96.57% for quercetin (RSD=0.80% ,n=6) and 97.33% for luteolin (RSD=1.72% , n=6). CONCLUSION: Established method is simple, rapid and accurate for quality control of total flavonoids of E. Canadensis.关键词
