摘要
Abstract
Objective To explore the therapeutic mechanism of sulfur mustard ( SM )on guinea pigs with psoriasis-like skin lesions. Methods 5% propranolol cream was evenly applied on ears of guinea pigs twice a day for 28 d. Since day 21 guinea pigs were co-treated with sulfur mustard paste. The thickness of guinea pig's ears was tested, and skin pathological changes were detected by HE staining. The expression level of TRAIL was determined by immunohistochemical staining. Results Sulfur mustard ameliorated ear swelling of guinea pigs( P<0.05 ). It reversed the injured skin to normal and promoted the TRAIL expression in sera conspicuously vs the control group. Conclusion Therapeutic mechanism of sulfur mustard for psoriasis could be related to inducing over-expression of TRAIL, and promoting apoptosis of skin mutant cells.关键词
