奥威尔脱敏剂封闭牙本质小管的扫描电镜观察
Dentinal Tubule Occlusion with Oravive Desensitizer: A Scanning Electron Microscopic Observation

Abstract
Objective To observe the effects of dentinal tubule occlusion and abrasion resistance with Oravive, a new desensitizer, by scanning electron microscope (SEM). Methods 24 freshly extracted human premolars were selected and were randomly divided into two groups:experiment group and control group. Oravive desensitizer and Green Or? Desensitizer were applied respectively on the exposed dentin surfaces after the models of dentine hypersensitivity had been made. Six teeth out of each group were selected for tooth brushing test. Then the teeth were vertically cleaved into two halves. An observation was made on the surface and the section plane by scanning election microscope. Results Both of the two desensitizers could occlude the dentinal surface and "resin tag"-like structures were formed to fill the tubules. The Oravive group had a greater occlusion depth and demonstrated better occluding ability after the tooth brushing test. Conclusion Both of the two desensitizers have occluding effect on tubule. Oravive performs better than Green Or? In occluding ability and abrasion resistance.关键词
