摘要

Abstract

La-Sa-Xing Oilfields have already entered the ultra-high water cut stage after water injection development and adjustment over 40 years. Plenty of remained oil, due to a variety of microscopic pore structures, still retain in some swept areas within thick oil-layers. The study on remained oil distribution in these areas has a guiding importance for enhancing the recovery factor of thick oil-layers and improving water flooding development effectiveness. By using cast thin section, mercury intrusion and SEM data, this paper studies the microscopic pore structures within thick oil-layers. The freezing method of making thin sections is applied to avoid the fault of ruining the original state of oil and water distribution with conventional methods and to obtain a clearer microscopic state. The remained oil distribution within thick oil-layers at ultra-high water cut stage is summarized and classified into 3 types and 7 patterns by using fluorescence analysis and experiment results, including oil droplets among particles, cant mode, throat mode, oil films on particles, absorption mode, inner pores inside particles and fissure mode. The study is of great importance for tapping the remained oil potential within thick oil-layers.
