Abstract

The tracing technology for oil /water movement applies the pseudo-tracer technology in the numerical simulation, I. E. The computer technology that tracks the oil /water movement with the numerical simulation through definition of different tracers for different injection wells. It can identify the inefficient circulation water injection and the dominant water injection direction of production wells. In the field test, the treatment of inefficient circulation with the tracing technology for oil /water movement achieves THE better effect, and the cross-well electric-log data shows that the main water injection direction judged by these two methods is basically accordant. It is indicated that the method is reliable and can be used as an effective technology that identifies the wells and layers with inefficient circulation during the super-high water-cut period and guides the treatment.
