Abstract
At present, the mill saddle frequency and feed rates of large-scale cold Pilger mill have been increased. Therefore, the optimum design of balance weight for Pilger mill is extremely important to reduce the additional dynamic load and shake which are created by inertial force. The LG-220 type cold Pilger mill provided for a steel factory by China National Heavy Machinery Research Institute is analyzed by the Solidworks software. This article proposes optimization for balance weight scheme and calculation on balance quality. This scheme and method not only meets the use of cold Pilger mill, but also reduces the cost of equipment and e-quipment infrastructure.关键词
