Abstract
Objective To explore the best cutoff point of the quantitive ultrasound elastography for differentiating malignant and benign breast lesions and to assess its diagnostic value. Methods A retrospective analysis was used to analyze the results of UE for 83 benign and malignant breast lesions and their pathological types have been confirmed by surgery. According to the features of malignant breast lesions, the ratio of the whole hardness and partly hardness of the lesions were used for quantitive evaluating. The diagnostic value of quantitive ultrasound elastography was evaluated by ROC curve. Results The area under the ROC curve (Az), sensitivity, specificity, positive predictive value, negative predictive value and accuracy for the ratio of the whole hardness were, 0.926%, 81.30%, 92.20%, 93.75%, 92.15% and 92.55%, respectively. The area under the ROC curve (Az), sensitivity, specificity, positive predictive value, negative predictive value and accuracy for the ratio of the partly hardness were, 0.939, 90.60%, 96.10%, 96.87%, 94.08% and 95.18%, respectively. Conclusion The usefulness of quantitive ultrasound elastography is more convenient and accurate and is helpful in differentiating malignant and benign breast lesions.关键词
