Abstract
Objective To evaluate the safety of argon plasma coagulation ( APC ) via bronchoscope and its impact on respiratory function in patients with bronchial luminal lung cancer. Methods A total of 35 patients with bronchial luminal lung cancer who were pathologically diagnosed via bronchoscope were treated with APC via bronchoscope. Respiratory function ( pulmonary function, arterial partial pressure of oxyge ), KPS scores and degrees of obstruction were evaluated before and after the treatment. Results After APC treatment, respiratory function and KPS scores improved significantly. Airway obstruction was relieved effectively ( total effectiveness 94. 29% ) . No severe complications were observed during the treatment. Conclusion APC via bronchoscope is an effective and safe method to treat bronchial luminal lung cancer. It can improve respiratory function and the quality of life.关键词
