Abstract
The orientation and working model of amino silicons softener on fiber surface were introduced. Amino value and pH of amino silicone impact on film morphology and working model were reviewed. The amino value directly controlled the siloxane chain length of adjacent amino alkyls. Only moderate length of the polysilox-ane chain can freely bend, turn and slide, which could further endow the fabric with softness. The softness effect of single amino silicone with 1/2 amino protonation (pH=6.0) was the optimal, and double amino silicone with 1/4 amino protonation (pH=6.7) was the best. The working models of improving amino silicone softness by addition of polyether were described, including working model of polyether modified amino silicone on cotton fiber surface, working model of amino polyether linear block polysiloxane and the working models in different environments.关键词
