摘要
Abstract
A novel algorithm for eliminating the transient overreach in distance protection based on singular value decomposition prony(SVD-prony) was proposed in the paper. The prony algorithm is used to analysis the fault signal of half cycle, and the modal order is determined by singular value decomposition, which reduces the impact of the noise on the prony algorithm and realizes more precise calculation. Then an adaptive criterion have been constructed to amend the distance protection settings according to the fitted error, which as a result, can avoid transient overreach Combining with MATLAB simulation protection program, a ATP simulation model was set up referencing to the Northwest 750kV line parameters from China Electric Power Research Institute. Simulation result verifies the feasibility and practicality of the proposed algorithm.关键词
