Abstract
Ultrasonic attenuation coefficient of ZG0Cr13Ni4Mo steel casting was tested and its influencing factors were analyzed. The results show that using linear relation of ln( Px) and x, where P is acoustic pressure and X is beam path, is a better method to measure the attenuation coefficient. Influences of the ultrasonic testing parameters including diameter, frequency of ultrasonic transducer on the attenuation coefficient are different. With the increase of the diameter, the attenuation coefficient firstly increases and then decreases, and the attenuation coefficient increases with the increase of frequency. Considering the influences of attenuation coefficient on the ultrasonic testing, low frequency and 20 mm diameter of ultrasonic transducer should be used in longitudinal wave probe ultrasonic testing.关键词
