Calculation of Additional Loss for HVDC Converter Transformer
摘要
Abstract
The additional loss is a very important reference index in the design of a converter transformer. In this paper, the skin depth control based solid model 3-D layer-meshing method and the magnetic loss calculation method were described. Using the software MagNet, the tank and clamps losses in a converter transformer were calculated, and the check computation of TEAM Problem 21B was conducted. Based on Visual Basic 6.0, a special program interface for calculating eddy current loss of windings in converter transformer was compiled and embedded into MagNet via VBScript, hence the eddy current loss of a winding is calculated. Comparison with the measured value verifies the correctness of the program interface.关键词
