Abstract
Objective To investigate the applying situation of pulmonary function test in the diagnosis of respiratory system disease in children. Methods We collected the clinical data of 1260 pediatric outpatients and 1 360 adult outpatients in our hospital from February 2010 to February 2011, and investigated and compared the ratio of pulmonary function test Results 143 pediatric outpatients received pulmonary function test, including 64 with suspected asthma and 17 with confirmed asthma; 673 adult outpatients received pulmonary function test, including 365 with suspected asthma and 103 with confirmed asthma. The ratio of pulmonary function test in the pediatric outpatients was 11.3% and the ratio of final diagnosis asthma was 26.5% . While the ratio of pulmonary function test in adult outpatients was 49.5%? And the ratio of final diagnosis asthma was 28.2%. The ratio of pulmonary function test in pediatric outpatients was lower than that in adult outpatients. Conclusions Pulmonary function is an important component in diagnosis of respiratory system disease, and can objectively reflect the inflammatory degree of airway of patients with asthma.关键词
