Abstract
Objective To discuss nursing strategies of the plasma exchange (PE) combined steroid, immunosuppressive therapy for thrombotic thrombocytopenic purpura (TTP). Methods Psychological interventions were given to 13 TTP patients of plasma exchange combined steroid, immune inhibitor therapy. Observation and nursing care were done in terms of plasma exchange, hormones and immunosuppressive agents. Following instructions were given when patients were discharged. Results Among 13 patients, 3 did not complete the treatment for various reasons. The rest 10 patients were discharged with relief. Conclusion Timely and effective treatment, close observation of patients' condition, comprehensive and careful nursing, and prevention and reduction of complications are important guarantees for rehabilitation of patients with TTP.关键词
