Abstract
Objective To evaluate the preoperative psychological interventions on anxiety of patients with fractures. Methods Sixty cases of fracture surgery were randomly divided into intervention and control groups. Operating room nurses interviewed the patients, introducing the overview of the operating room and explaining the procedure - related knowledge with language and nonverbal communication one day before the surgery. The patients in the control group were given psychological again while they were waiting for surgery. Results Two groups of patients' SAS, blood pressure, heart rate showed no significant difference (P>0.05). The intervention group's SAS, blood pressure, heart rate decreased significantly and the control group SAS, blood pressure, heart rate significantly increased. The differences between the two groups were statistically significant (P < 0. 05). Conclusion The fracture patients undergoing preoperative psychological intervention can help eliminate or reduce anxiety, maintaining a stable blood pressure and heart rate.关键词
