Abstract
Objective To discuss sustained low - efficiency dialysis (SLED) for critical geriatric patients & nursing care measures. Methods 115 critical ESRD elderly patients were treated with SLED. We use 4008S- ARrtplus & High- flux dialyser F60S (Fresenius), every session was 8~12 hours with blood flow rate 150~200 mL/min. During every treatment session, nurses need to observe the patients closely, keep the blood circuit patency, maintain the dialysis machines in normal operation, care for the access. Results Totally 263 treatments were conducted with SLED in these 115 patients, the survival rate is 97. 39%. Including 112 who were treated with SLED smoothly as planned and status were improved, and then transferred to maintenance hemodialysis. Conclusion SLED mode is characteristic of long duration of extracorporeal circuit & patients' condition change quickly. It needs clinical staffs to have high responsibility, sensitive judgment & capability of problem dealing with which are key factors of successful SLED for critical patients.关键词
