摘要
Abstract
Objective: To investigate tie independent association beiween senm uric acH (SUA) and hypertension and assess Hie joint effects witti metabolic risk fictors. M ethods: After excluding subjects witti known diabetes and fisting blood glucose greater flian 7.0 mmo/ L, a toial of8 415 cases who were fern a carmunily- based healtti examination survey inXu2hou, Jiangsu province of China (2009) were to be our investigating objects B bod pressure, body mass index ( BMI) and bkmaikers features were evaluated for all ttie individuals Results; Increased bbod pressure levels were associated witti higher SUA concentration , even adjusting for age and gender (P for trend<0.000 1), or iirrher adjustnent for fisting bbod glucose and lp Hs (P for 1rend< 0.0001). H ighest quintiles of high densily lpoprotein cholesterol ( HDL-C) showed sgnificantly interacted witti SUA in relatbn to hypertension (P =0.001). Conclisbn: There was significant association beiween SUA and hypertension, independent of otiermetabolic risk fictors. HDL-C levels may modify ttie associatbns beiween SUA and hypertension.关键词
