Abstract
Objectives To study the Vancouver B type periprosthetic proximal femur fractures treated with cable and plate or cortical strut bone graft. Methods; Retrospective study was performed in 34 cases with periprosthestic proximal femur fractures allocated in Vancouver B type from January 2005 to December 2010. All the cases were treated by cable and plate or cortical strut bone allograft. Cases with other types of fixation were excluded. AO locking plate and Zimmer cable plate were used. Results : At last, every case reached union. The complication include 1 refracture(type Bl) ,1 delayed union(type Bl) and 1 incision leakage(type B3). Conclusions: Cable and plate or cortical strut bone graft is a good way to treat the Vancouver B type periprosthetic proximal femur fractures. Compare the cable plate, locking plate can save the operation time and blood loss.关键词
