Abstract
Objective:To investigate the efficacy of loop electrosurgical excision procedure (LEEP) for the treatment of cervical intraepithelial neoplasia (CIN). Methods: A total of 98 patients with CIN diagnosed by thinprep liquid-based cytology test (TCT) and biopsy guided by colposcopy were treated by LEEP, and the specimens were marked for further pathological examination. Among the 98 cases, 75 cases were diagnosed as stage one CIN (CIN I), 21cases as CIN II and 2 cases as CIN HI. Three months after LEEP, all 98 patients were follow-up visited by TCT and colposcopy. Results; 100% patients with cervical erosion were cured. Among 98 cases who were re-checked three months after operation, 96 patients showed normal appearance by TCT, and only 2 patients showed dyskaryosis. The cure rate of LEEP was 97. 9%. There were no abnormity and recurrence nine months after LEEP operation. Conclusions: LEEP is an effective clinical method for the diagnosis and treatment of CIN.关键词
