摘要

Abstract

The interaction between myricetin and xanthine oxidase ( XO) was studied under the physiological conditions ( pH 7. 4 ) by UV - Vis absorption spectrometry. With the in creasing time of XO added to myricetin, obvisious hypochromic effect of I Band (376 nm) and II Band (266nm) were observed in the UV - Visible absorption spectra of myricetin. At the same time, a new absorption peak gradually increased at 331 nm, the absorbance in creased from 0. 649 to 1.053 (0 to 29 min). The interaction between myricetin and xanthine oxidase was enzymatic reaction, myricetin was the "suicide" substrate of xanthine oxidase, which indicates that the reaction rate is limited by the amount of xanthine oxidase.
