Abstract
To screen the proper solvent for separating acrylic acid aqueous solution by the combination method of extraction and azeotropic distillation, the liquid-liquid equilibrium ( T.I.F.) data for the ternary system of water-acrylic acid-methyl isobutyl ketone (MIBK) at 293. 15, 303.15 and 313.15 K were measured under atmospheric pressure. The reliability of the experimental LLE data was ascertained through Hand equation. All of the square of the linear correlation coefficients are greater than 0. 99. The activity coefficient models of nonrandom two-liquid (NRTL) and universal quasi-chemical (UNIQUAC) were used to correlate the data of the investigated system by data regression system of Aspen Plus. The parameters of the two models were obtained. With the parameters, the compositions of LLE were calculated and compared with the corresponding experimental data. The values of the root-mean-square deviation are all less than 0.014. The LLE phase diagrams at different temperatures of the ternary system were given. The results show that the calculated values from the two models agree well with the experimental values.关键词
