胃癌组织中EZH2和p53蛋白的表达及临床意义
The expression and clinical significance of EZH2 and p53 protein in gastric carcinoma

Abstract
Purpose To investigate the expressions of EZH2 and p53 protein in gastric carcinomas, and then to determined the clinico-pathological significance of both proteins in the carcinogenesis and progression of gastric carcinoma. Methods 199 cases of gastric carcinomas, 25 of high-grade intraepithelial neoplasia, 24 of low-grade intraepithelial neoplasia, 46 of intestinal metaplasia, 17 of chronic atrophic gastritis and 23 of normal gastric mucosa were immunohistochemically analysed with EZH2 and p53 protein. Results The expression of EZH2 protein in gastric carcinomas and intraepithelial neoplasia was significantly higher than that in intestinal metaplasia , chronic atrophic gastritis and normal gastric mucosa. Meanwhile, the expression of EZH2 protein was higher in advanced gastric cancer than that in early gastric cancer. The expression of EZH2 protein was correlated with tumor size, lymph node metastasis, T stage and clinical stage. However, the expression of EZH2 protein was not correlated with the patients age, gender, tumor location, tumor differentiation, tumor classification and patients survival. The expression of p53 protein was greatly enhanced in gastric cancer. In other lesions and normal gastric mucosa, the expression of p53 was completely absent or rare. The expression level of p53 was correlated with patients'age, gender, tumor size, lymph node metastasis, tumor differentiation, tumor classification and patients' survival. EZH2 protein expression was positively correlated with p53 protein expression. Conclusion EZH2 is overexpressed in gastric cancer and the expression is correlated with the expression of p53, which suggested that crosstalk between EZH2 and p53 may play an important role in carcinogenesis and progression of gastric carcinoma.关键词
