摘要
Abstract
[ Objective ] To assess the diagnostic value of double balloon enteroscopy(DBE)for suspected intestinal disease. [Methods] From December 2008 to June 2010, 37 patients with suspected intestinal disease underwent DBE. Oral and anal routes DBE were performed in 18 and 13 patients, respectively, while 6 patients underwent a combination of both approaches. [Results] The overall diagnostic yield of DBE was 75.7% (28/37), with vascular lesions in 16, polyp in 3, tumor in 2, parasitic infections in 2, diverticulosis in 2, Crohn,s disease in 2, intestinal tuberculosis in 1. [Conclusions] DBE has the advantage of allowing direct visualization, taking biopsy specimens easily and treating lesions directly, and it is a new diagnostic method for small intestinal disease.关键词
