摘要

Abstract

Flood is one of the most frequent natural calamities in China. Floods always affect a wide area, last a long period, involve large population and make great economic losses, especially destroying the local agricultural facilities which would have long-term negative affections on disaster areas. When a flood comes, the rescue and relief work is the chief task of the local government and related authorities. WebGIS can provide all-sided, timely and reasonable information to help the command center against the disaster. This paper tries to analyze the difficulties in flood fighting and offer corresponding solutions with the help of WebGIS.
