Abstract
[ Objective ] To investigative the endoscopic and pathological features of verrucous gastritis. [ Methods] All 94 cases patients in accordance with the endoscopic diagnostic criteria of verrucous gastritis were classified, two pieces of gastric mucosal specimens from the mucosal protrusion and the flat gastric mucosa 5 cm from the edge of elevated lesion were obtained, pathological findings were analyzed. [ Results ] 59 cases with verrucous lesion showed mucosal atrophy and dysplasia (62.77%), and 20 cases with mucosal lesion of flat of 5 cm from the edge of elevated lesion showed mucosal atrophy and dysplasia, (21.28%), the difference between the two groups was significant (P <0.01). In 94 cases of verrucous gastritis, there were 46 cases in the immature, 48 cases in the mature, mucosal lesions of atrophy and dysplasia in the mature showed tendency to grow in number ,but no significance between the two groups (P >0.05). Of 94 cases of verrucous gastritis, 35 cases showed Helicobacter pylori infection, the positive rate was 37.23%. [Conclusions] The focuses of mucosal protrusion are easier to transformation to atrophic gastritis, it suggests verrucous gastritis may be a kind of precancerous disease.关键词
