Abstract
Objective To establish a method for the simultaneous determination of epigallocatechin galiate (EGCG) and epigallocatechin (EGG) in tea and to quantify two ingredients in four tea breeds from Wenzhou. Methods The study was achieved using a Zorbax Eclipse XDB-Cii column (150 mm x4. 6 mm, 5 (im) with gradient elution system of methanol - water containing 0.1% formic acid. The flow rale was 0. 8 mL/min, the column temperature was 25 V and the elution were detected at 270 nm. Results Under the selected analytical condition, the content of the analytes was good linear with their peak areas. The content of EGCC and EGC was at higher level. Conclusion The method is applicable for the determination of catechins from Wenzhou tea.关键词
