Abstract
Objective To investigate the clinical effectcomparison of laparoscopic totally extraperitoneal prosthesis(TEP)and transabdominal preperitoneal prosthesis(TAPP). Methods Seventy three patients with inguinal hernia were divided into TAPP group (n=39) and TEP group (n=34).The operation time, hospital stay, hospital costs and complication rates were compared between the two groups. Results The operations of both groups were all successful.There was no significant difference in out-of-bed activity time, hospital stay, hospital costs and complication rate,but the difference of operation time was significant. Conclusion TAPP and TEP are both safe and efficient techniques for repairing inguinal hernia. TEP is more reasonable, and it can be selected as the preferred surgical approach.关键词
