摘要

Abstract

Objective To investigate the correlations between pulmonary artery systolic pressure (PASP) and MMP-2, TIMP-1, inflammatory factors in patients with hypoxic pulmonary hypertension (HPH), and evaluate the mechanism of HPH. Methods Levels of PASP, MMP-2, TIMP-1, TNF-a, IL-6, hs-CRP were measured in 52 patients with HPH and 50 healthy controls. Results Levels of MMP-2, TIMP-1, hs-CRP, TNF-a, and IL-6 in patients with HPH were higher than those in healthy controls (P < 0.05). Levels of PASP in patients with HPH were positively correlated with the levels of MMP-2, MMP-2/TIMP-1, hs-CRP, TNF-a, and IL-6. Multiple backward regression analysis showed that MMP-2, MMP-2/TIMP-1, hs-CRP, and TNF-a may be used to predict PASP. Conclusion MMPs system and inflammation factors may play important roles in the development of HPH.
