Abstract
Objective To explore the operation approach in the treatment of single-level lumbar disc herniation. Methods From June 2009 to December 2010, 27 cases of lumbar disc hemiation were treated with minimally invasive transforaminal lumbar interbody fusion (TLIF )through X-tube channel, male 17 and female 10, mean age 31 years (range, 28-36years). The mean course of their diseases was 5 month (range, 1.5-3.0 years). Mac_Nab scores and the score of modified Prolo are used to evaluate the postoperative leg pain and the back pain. Results All cases underwent operation successfully .The operation time was 2.5-3h(mean,2.7h) and the blood loss was200-280 mL(average 250 mL). According to Macnab criteria,the surgical outcomes were excellent in 17(63%) cases,good in 6(22.2%) cases,fair in 4(14.8%) cases with the excellent-to-good rate of 85.2%.reoperative ratio 0%. Before operation, the mean score of modified Prolo was 10.5 ± 1.6. After operation, the mean score of modified Prolo was 17.0 ± 0.9. Conclusion It is demonstrated that minimally invasive TLIF through X-tube channel has the advantages of small trauma and bleeding, short operation time, quick recovery and low complication rate. But the operation indications must be strictly defined.关键词
