摘要

Abstract

Objective To research the effects of Shengmai Chenggu Capsules (SCC), a traditional Chinese prescription, on the osteogenesis of mesenchymal stem cells and the mineralization nodus formation of osteoblasts of iliac bone and femur in rats with steroid-induced avascular necrosis of femoral head (SANFH). Methods Sixty SD male rats were randomly divided into 6 groups:normal control group,model group,SCC prevention group,Alendronate treated group,Danyu Gukang (a patent traditional Chinese medicine) treated group and SCC treated group. The effects of SCC on the osteogenesis of the proximal ilium and femur were observed by determining the proliferation of mesenchymal stem cells and the number of mineralization nodus.Results The transformation and proliferation levels of mesenchyma stem cells and the number of mineralization nodus in femur and iliac bone were significantly higher in SCC prevention group than those in the model group.Furthermore,the above-mentioned indicators in SCC prevention group were significantly higher than those in other treatment groups. Conclusion SCC can promote the proliferation of mesenchymal stem cells and the mineralization nodus formation of femur and iliac bone,which is in favor of the osteogenesis in SANFH rats.
