JVM Garbage Collection Algorithm in Real-time Environment
摘要
Abstract
A Java Virtual Machine(JVM) garbage collection algorithm in real-time environment is presented. The proposed algorithm improves the heap space division and reference tracking in incremental collector for reducing the uncertain pause caused by garbage collection. Furthermore, this algorithm allows users to assign a specified period in the garbage collection in order to obtain the shortest pause time. All of these make the proposed algorithm suitable for real-time environment. Experiment results show that this algorithm can effectively reduce the frequency and duration of pauses.关键词
