Abstract
According to the hydrological and meteorological data during the recent decades, the causes of drought in Gansu Province were analyzed. The results indicated that the causes of drought not only arose .at from the monsoon due to its location in northeastern Tibetan Plateau, but also related to the provinces topography, meteorology, rainfall, a. Surface, underground and glacier water distribution,as well as river runoff, in particular related to the human socio-economic activities directly.关键词
