摘要

Abstract

Asynchronous self-starting rare-earth permanent magnet synchronous motor(REPMSM)has the characteristics of big power density, high efficiency and high power factor, however, braking torque of asynchronous permanent magnet generator causes the REPMSM to oscillate in the REPMSM starting process. A soft-start method was designed to eliminate the impact by braking torque of asynchronous permanent magnet generators, which improved the REPMSM starting performance. Matlab/Simulink platform is used to build simulation models to typical size (8 pole 22 kW) REPMSM starting simulation. The starting characteristic and running performance of the REPMSM sample was analyzed,the results show the validity of the study and design and engineering practicality.
