高产优质抗病强适应性广红麻新品种"中红麻13号"的选育
Selection and Breeding of "China Kenaf 13"-A New Kenaf Variety with High Yield,Disease-resistance and Wide Adaptability

Abstract
A new kenaf variety-China Kenaf 13 (originally named LC0301) was selected and bred from the progeny of "KB2xKBll", which would be a textile and multipurpose new kenaf variety with high yield, disease and lodging resistances, high quality and wide adaptability. It is no early flowering, red stem and lobed leaf. In national regional trials, the average fiber yield of China Kenaf No. 13 was 4251.31kg/hm2, 16.37% higher than the CK "China Kenaf No.10" which was 3855.2 kg/hm2 from 2004 to 2006. Its average fiber and stem yields ranked the first place among the conventional varieties. In the productive trials its average fiber yield was 4541.61 kg/hm2, 17.8% higher than the CK which was 3855.2 kg/hm2. The main traits that China Kenaf 13 has are high plant, thick bark, high percentage of effective plants, high bast fiber and dry stem yield, disease-resistance and good fiber quality. Its average fiber strength was 316 N, fineness was 267 m/g, all the traits were better than those of CK. The disease index was 12.1 and the root-rotten rate was 0.8%, which could be concluded that this new kenaf variety was high resistance to the anthracnose disease.关键词
