摘要

Abstract

The concentrations of total phosphorus and total nitrogen in surface sediments from Shanmei reservoir valley were analyzed with investigation and chemical analysis in laboratory in 2006. The sources and pollution of phosphorus and nitrogen in surface sediments were presented. The results were obtained that the average concentrations of total phosphorus were 566 mg · Kg-1, with ranges 311.2 ~ 792.5 mg · Kg-1, and the average concentrations of total nitrogen were 749.5 mg · Kg-1, with ranges 459.1 ~984.3 mg · Kg-1. The average concentrations of total phosphorus and total nitrogen in surface sediments followed the sequence: Shanmei reservoir > confluence of Tao rivulet and Huyang rivulet > Huyang rivulet > Tao rivulet. There was significant correlation between total phosphorus in surface sediments and its overlying water ( r = 0. 895 2, P = 0.003 < 0.01) , the total nitrogen in surface sediments also correlated significantly with the total nitrogen in overlying water ( r = 0.868 9, P = 0.005 < 0.01), which indicated that total phosphorus and total nitrogen in surface sediments and overlying water had the same source. Phosphorus and nitrogen in surface sediments from Shanmei reservoir, downstream of Huyang rivulet and confluence of Tao rivulet and Huyang rivulet would impose ecological risk on the marine biology.
