Abstract
OBJECTIVE: To provide a reference for the relevant biomedical industry departments which intend to take measures. METHODS: Factor analysis was used to construct the comprehensive evaluation system for biomedical industry development of 28 areas. The development of biomedical industry in China was evaluated by 14 economic indicators from scale level, profitability, operation capacity and development capacity. RESULTS & CONCLUSIONS: The level of biomedical industry development of each area is not balanced. Scale level is important to improve the level of biomedical industry development, and profitability, operation capacity and development capacity also contribute to comprehensive development. Recognizing the advantages and disadvantage and taking relevant measures are crucial for each area to develop biomedical industry in healthy way in the future. It is suggested to enlarge the scale of biomedical industry, promote the sustained and steady growth of biomedical industry, strengthen research and develop effective management.关键词
