Abstract
Objective To investigate the efficacy of laparoscopic cholecystectomy for acute calculous cholecystitis and the control of postoperative complications.Methods The data on 172 patients who had undergone laparoscopic cholecystectomy during the period of March 2008 to August 2010 were retrospectively analyzed.Mean surgical duration,rate of conversion to laparotomy,incidence rate of postoperative complications,and mean lengh of hospital stay were analyzed.Results The mean surgical duration was 65 min in all the patients; conversion to ]aparotomy was needed in 11 patients; severe complications including postoperative bile duct injury,bile leakage,bleeding,and adjacent organ damage occurred in 4 ( 2.3％ ); mean lengh of hospital stay was 3.6 days.Conclusions Laparoscopic cholecystectomy is effective and has a low rate of postoperative complications in the treatment of acute calculous cholecystitis.It is a promising surgical technique.关键词
