Simultaneous Determination of Oleanic Acid and Ursolic Acid in Mongolian Medicine Compound Changpu Siwei by RP-HPLC

Abstract
OBJECTIVE: To develop a method for simultaneous determination of oleanic acid and ursolic acid in Mongolian medicine Compound changpu siwei. METHODS: RP-HPLC method was adopted. The separation was performed on a Diamosil Cu (250 mmx4.6 mm, 5 μm) column with methanol-acetonitrile-0.2% glacial acetic acid solution (56:28:16) as mobile phase at a flow rate of 1.0 mL·min-1. The detection wavelength was set at 215 nm, and the column temperature was 30 ℃. The injection volume was 20 uL. RESULTS: The linear ranges of oleanic acid and ursolic acid were 0.926 4-9.264 0 μg(r=0.999 9) and 0.865 6~ 8.656 0 μg (r=0.999 9), respectively. The mean recoveries of them were 98.40% and 99.29%, and RSD were 2.04% and 1.44% (n=6). CONCLUSION: The developed method is simple, accurate and reporducible, and it provides basis for the quality control of Mongolian medicine Compound changpu siwei.关键词
