Abstract
Objective To compare the applications of the PICC intubation and femoral vein catheter in elderly lung cancer patients'chemotherapy. Methods Retrospective review of 17 PICC intubation cases and 46 femoral vein femoral cases was done to analyze the success rate of intubation, the time of indwelling and complications. Results In PICC intubation group, the one- time success rate was 76.4%(13/17), and the indwelling time of intubation was 36～ 162 d, mean 84 d. While in femoral vein catheter group, the one - time success rate was 91.3 % (42/46), and the indwelling time of catheter was 3～71 d, mean 36 d. There were lower incidence of Hematoma and vascular thrombosis, and catheter- related infections in PICC catheter group. Conclusion Compared with the femoral vein catheter, there were fewer complications, longer indwelling time of catheter and more convenience of caring in cases applied with PICC intubation.关键词
