Abstract
Objective To review the experience of emergency extracorporeal circulation ( ECC) during off-pump coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG) operation. Methods From Jan 2005 to July 2010, 518 patients were expected to have off-pump coronary artery bypass grafting. During operation, 27 patients were conversed to on-pump CABG. We retrospectively reviewed the clinical data of these patients and summarize the techniques of emergency ECC. Results Among 27 patients who were conversed to on-pump CABG, 22 cases were weaned from ECC smoothly, 2 cases needed prolonged assistance and 3 cases needed intra-aortic balloon pump(IABP). Two patients died postoperatively. Conclusion Quick ECC establishment, modified perfusion technique and IABP application can reduce postoperative complications and mortality in patients undergoing off-pump coronary artery bypass surgery.关键词
