Abstract
Objective To compare the gradient distribution of estrogen and progesterone receptors in the whole layers of the u-terus and to study the effectiveness of endometrial ablation in order to save the uterus. Methods The distribution and intensity of estrogen receptor (ER) and progesterone receptor (PR) staining in various parts of human endometrium and myometrium were evaluated. Results The distribution of estrogen receptors and progesterone receptors in the intramural layers was mostly in the mucous layer, followed by the myometrium layer and subserous layer. Conclusions The expression of estrogen and progesterone receptors in the uterus was the highest in the endometrium. For patients with dysfunctional uterine bleeding,subserous myoma or endometrial polyps, excision of myoma and polyps can alleviate menstrual symptoms significantly. The level of estrogen receptors and progesterone receptors is at the peak in the endometrium. So endometrial abalation is effective.关键词
