摘要

Abstract

A new compound with unique structure, triptycene-2,3,6,7-tetracarboxylic dianhydride has been synthesized, and then a novel type of polyimide (PI) was synthesized from this dianhydride and ODA or MDA via the obtained Pis low temperature solution polycondensation and chemical imidization. The structure and properties of the obtained polyimide were characterized by FT-IR, TGA and DSC, solution property and intrinsic viscosity were also taken into account The results showed that the Pis is soluble with the polar solvents such as N-methyl-2-pyrrolidone, N,N-dimethyl acetamide, the intrinsic viscosity reaches 0. 83 dL ? G-1, thermally decomposed temperature gets to 590 ℃ with 5% content
