太阳活动低年南北极电离层F2层观测与国际参考电离层对比研究

Abstract
A long data series from EISC AT Svalbard Radar and Digisonde Portable Sounder-4 ( DPS-4) at Zhongshan Station , between December 2006 and December 2007, have been analyzed for diurnal variability in the F2 region critical frequency (F0f2) and peak altitude ( hmF2). Comparison with the international reference ionosphere model (IRI-2007) clearly demonstrates that observations at both stations were consistent with the IRI prediction in summer , but with great deviations in winter. It is suggested that although the photoionization factor was well represented in the model, electron precipitation should be taken into account, especially in winter.关键词
