Abstract
According to aerodynamic computation and infrared radiant theory, a method is proposed to estimate the aircraft infrared radiant intensity. Firstly, the aircraft surface temperature field is obtained by solving the flow control equation, namely the Euler equation. Then, the aircraft wall temperature is computed by using the viscous boundary layer theory. After getting the distribution of aircraft surface temperature, using the grey body radiant concept, the aircraft infrared radiant intensity is analyzed. Taking the infrared radiant intensity computation of a jet plane as an example, the infrared radiant intensity considering the exhaust plume is compared with that not considering the exhaust plume, and the feasibility of the proposed method is verified. The proposed infrared radiant intensity estimation method is useful for aircraft infrared stealth and survivability design.关键词
