Abstract
2010 Shanghai Expo Japan Industry Pavilion is located at the former united hull plants of Shanghai Jiangnan Shipyard. Structural design of the project was carried out based on the theory of "recycle". The basic form of the combined action of both old and new foundation was adpoted, and the joints of steel structure were designed with removable high-strength bolts connection as possible. While at the same time, steel pipes of scaffolding were reserved as the lateral load resisting members during the process of using. The project realizes the effective combination of diversified architectural features of Expo, " Recycle" theory, environmental protection and the economy as well as the safety of structural design.关键词
