摘要

Abstract

A Fe-based coating reinforced by WC of high wear resistance was fabricated on the cutting pick surface by High Frequency Induction Cladding (HF1C). The results show that:a metallurgical bond is attained between the coating and the substrate, the coating comprises of austenite, herringbone eutectic carbide and little WC, and the main phases of the coating are (Cr, Fe)7C3, WC, Fe3 W3C and Fe3C et al. The coating is about 2 mm thickness, and the rockwell hardness reaches 63. 6HRC, the average microhardness is 1007. 9HV0. 3, and the wear resistance of the coating is 4.06 times of the substrate, showing excellent wear resistance.
