摘要

Abstract

Population development and grain yields of wheat under limited irrigation and nitrogen application regimes were studied in field conditions. The results showed both irrigation times and nitrogen application regimes had some effects on the population development and yields of wheat. The effect of irrigation was much greater than nitrogen application* and interaction effects were found between them. Spike number, kernel number per spike and grain yields rose gradually with increase of irrigation times. The largest 1000-kernel weight was 47. 5 g under the treatment of one-irrigation. The effect of nitrogen application regimes on yields was different under different irrigation conditions. The highest yield of 5025.1 kg/ha was obtained under the N3 treatment (60% of basic N fertilizer and the other 40% at jointing stage) without irrigation. The N4 treatment (60% of basic N fertilizer and the other 40% at booting stage) with irrigations gave highest yield of 7 633.4 kg/ha.
