Study on the Germinability of Wild Rice Germplasm Resources in the Genebank
摘要
Abstract
[Objective] The objective was to provide the scientific basis for monitoring and establishing the method of the germinability of wild rice seeds and other seeds stored in the genebank. [ Method] The germination rate of 2 177 wild rice seeds stored for 21-28 years in the germplasm genebank was monitored. The change situations of the germination rate of different types of wild rice seeds after storage were ana lyzed. [ Result] The germination rate decline of wild rice seeds after storing 24-28 years in the medium - term genebank had obvious differ ence. The average germination rate of officinal wild rice seeds after storing 28 years decreased from 50.56% to 11.34%. The decrease of the average seed germination rate of common wild rice, officinal wild rice and foreign wild rice after storing 21 -27 years in long - term genebank had no obvious difference. The changes of the germination rate of the same type of wild rice seeds with different codes stored in the genebank from the same time had difference. [ Conclusion] The storage effects of wild rice germplasm resources in the long-term genebank were better than that in the medium-term genebank, with long life. And they can be safely kept for more than 24 years.关键词
