The Comparative Analysis of Leaf Color and Carotenoids Content of the Common Apocynaceae Plants
摘要
Abstract
[Objective] The leaf color and carotenoids content of 3 common apocynaceae plants were comparative analyzed. [ Methods ] The asexual reproduction materials of 3 common apocynaceae plant leaves were to be the research object, after extraction process used the mixture of acetone and alcohol, the content of carotene, lutein and carotenoid in test material were measured by spectrophotometer. [ Results] The Leaf colour of 3 common apocynaceae were different, and the content of carotene, lutein and carotenoid were distinct between 3 plants, and the content reduce trend were Plumeria rubra' L. Cv. Acutifolia', Nerium indicum Mill, Allemanda cathartica L.. [ Conclusion ] The leaf color of 3 common apocynaceae were related to the carotenoid content in leaves, the higher of carotenoid content, the darker of the plant leaves color, and the plant growing taller also.关键词
